I think this is approaching the largest string I would want to deploy on a dive.
DS18B20 Temperature sensor chain prototypes using DIY underwater Cave Pearl data logger. This particular chain is 13.5m long, with 26 Ds18B20 one wire sensors. No 100 ohm resistors were needed for good commuinications on the 0ne wire bus.
